Is the bread baked in-house?

Yes. Housemade breads, baked every morning: whole wheat, white, onion rye, sourdough, French. Every sandwich is built on it, and gluten-free bread is available as a substitute.

Do you have vegetarian or gluten-free lunch options?

Yes. The Garden croissant sandwich, the Havarti Delight, the Spinach Melt, the Butler Tarkington Delight and the Veggie Quesadilla are all made without meat, and most salads can be ordered without meat. Gluten-free bread is available on any sandwich. We cook in a shared kitchen, so please tell a manager about any allergy before you order.

Can you feed a group or an office?

Lunch here starts with the bread. The sourdough, the onion rye, the French bread and the croissants come out of our own ovens every morning, and the sandwiches are built on them to order: a Reuben on onion rye, the French Dip with its au jus, the Emporium Club on a croissant, the Rocky Ripple Roast Beef on sourdough. The chicken salad and tuna salad are made in house, and so is every dressing on the salad list.

There is a soup of the day every day, vegetable soup and chili by the cup or bowl, and the combinations pair a half sandwich or a small house salad with a bowl of it. Lunch is served all day, from open to close, so a late lunch is never a problem.
