Catering questions, answered
Minimums, notice, delivery and what we cater, straight from the catering menu. For anything else, the catering manager is a phone call away.
- How much notice do you need for a catering order?
- At least 24 hours. Menu changes need 48 hours. For large events, holiday parties and Thanksgiving week, earlier is better; call and we will hold the date.
- What is the minimum order?
- Catering orders start at ten people. Boxed lunches are a minimum of five per sandwich type, entrees five per entree type, cocktail sandwiches and appetizers three dozen per type, and sandwich platters ten people. Delivery has a $150 order minimum.
- Do you deliver?
- Yes, across Indianapolis, and we set up. Delivery is $25 with a $150 order minimum; additional fees apply for orders over $500, deliveries outside Marion County, after 4 p.m., outside normal business hours or with special requests. Pickup at the shop is always free.
- What kinds of events do you cater?
- Office breakfasts and lunches, board meetings and trainings, open houses, showers, graduation and birthday parties, funeral lunches, holiday parties and weddings, from ten people to a few hundred. Boxed lunches, trays and platters for the simple ones; hot entrees with house salad and bread, appetizers and dessert trays for the rest.
- Can you handle vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests?
- Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available across boxed lunches, entrees and trays. Tell the catering manager about any allergy when you order; we cook in a shared kitchen.
- How do I order?
- Order online from the catering menu, call 317.253.9513, or send the contact form with your date, headcount and what you have in mind and the catering manager will follow up with a quote.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellations must reach the catering manager by email or in writing no later than 10 a.m. one business day before the scheduled pickup or delivery. Orders cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are charged in full.
